Role: Senior Fire Protection Engineer 🔥

Lead and execute fire protection and life safety engineering projects while managing project scopes, budgets, and schedules from concept through completion with NO LAYOFFS in over 15 years and a strong, consistent project backlog.
Requirements: 🎓
✅ Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field
✅ Minimum 5-8+ years of experience in fire protection and life safety consulting
✅ Professional Engineer (PE) license REQUIRED (Maryland or eligible via reciprocity)
✅ NCEES eligibility for multi-state registration
✅ Experience with project management and cost control in a consulting engineering environment
✅ Expertise in International Building Code (IBC) and Life Safety Code® requirements
✅ Ability to develop and review fire protection system designs, specifications, and drawings
✅ Experience conducting building code and life safety evaluations for new and existing structures
✅ Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to professional development
✅ Strong technical writing skills for reports and documentation
✅ Experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit preferred
✅ Willingness to participate in light travel for site visits and coordination
✅ Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship now or in the future
