Role: Electro-Mechanical Engineer 🔧

Design, develop, and improve mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, combining mechanical design expertise with electrical and power electronic systems to deliver solutions that improve performance, reduce costs, and increase manufacturability. This is a KEY CONTRIBUTOR role for new product development and continuous improvement of existing designs, where you'll be part of meetings with leadership including the President to understand company goals, prioritize projects, define KPIs, and discuss customer needs. Work in a collaborative environment where there are no walls between departments—everyone (production, operations, engineering) works together to get the job done. Focus on creating Battery Cabinets and enclosure systems—sheet metal enclosures with electrical and electronic systems inside—while spending hands-on time on the plant floor helping solve assembly and quality problems with custom made-to-order assembly.
Requirements: 🎓
✅ Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical)
✅ Minimum 5-10 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical design
✅ Understanding of electronic systems and ability to interpret schematics
✅ Experience working in a manufacturing environment
✅ Knowledge of machine shop practices and sheet metal fabrication
✅ Proficiency in SolidWorks, including ability to manage large assemblies
✅ Skilled in AutoCAD, DraftSight, or similar 2D drafting software
✅ Strong background in sheet metal design and fabrication principles
✅ Experience in new product development from concept through production
✅ Ability to create custom parts and assemblies to meet customer-specific requirements
✅ Experience maintaining production-ready documentation including revision notes and interface drawings
✅ Hands-on approach with willingness to work on plant floor solving assembly and quality issues
