Non-Negotiables

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical training with relevant hands-on experience is required
  • You must be able to interpret technical documentation and prepare structured technical reports, including mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and specifications
  • You must have experience taking technical ownership of field projects, leading project execution, and working directly with customers
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting abilities are non-negotiable
  • Excellent communication, customer-facing, and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) is required

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and growth of Advanced Measurement Technology and metrology services within the U.S. organization
  • Perform laser tracking, scanning, metrology, and precision measurement services at customer sites worldwide
  • Take technical ownership of field projects, including planning, coordination, execution, and customer communication
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to implement standards, methodologies, and best practices
  • Support troubleshooting, technical problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in field service, rotating equipment, turbomachinery, metrology, or the energy industry is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with laser tracking, scanning, and precision measurement technologies is a plus
  • Well-organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel significantly, both domestically and internationally, to customer sites is a key attribute
  • Experience working in a global, cross-functional team environment is advantageous
  • Prior experience in the oil & gas refining or chemical processing industry is beneficial
